Was is Lauren or Hilfiger that came right out and said that they didn’t want their clothes on black bodies?

It was Hilfiger. Apparently Black people take his clothing line away from its roots

That was a rumor started in the 90s. The basis was that he told Oprah live on her show that he didn’t want minorities wearing his clothes before she asked him to leave. The truth is, he was never on Oprah until this interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnEOmrntYs where he and Oprah confirmed that it was made up.
